  • What is cashback?

    Cashback is a refund that you get back from the purchased product. Depending on the product the refund can be a percentage off, or a sum off the final price. For example, you buy a shampoo at £2 and Shopmium offers 50% cashback, you will get £1 back on your bank or PayPal account (depending on your payment preferences).

  • Is Shopmium free?

    Yes! There is no fee to open an account and no subscription. The Shopmium app is free to download from Apple store or Google play store.

  • How do I claim cashback?

    To claim a cashback, simply buy an eligible product at any store or online and keep your receipt. Click on the piggy bank icon at the bottom of the screen, select the button ‘Request my cashback’. You will then be asked to take a picture of the receipt and scan the product barcode and that is it!

  • How do I create an account?

    You can download the app and browse our offers without registering. However, to access certain features, such as requesting cashback, you will need to register and create an account. You can either use "Facebook Connect" or register with your email address. Please note that you can only have one account per email address. From your profil you can add more informations such as you name, date of birth, payment method.

  • How will I get my cashback?

    Once your cashback is validated, the amount will be added to your Shopmium balance. You will need to accumulate at least £10 in your balance before you can withdraw it to your chosen bank or PayPal account. As soon as you reach the £10 threshold, you can withdraw your cashback. The withdrawal will be processed and visible in your account within an average of 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday).

  • How does the referral program work?

    For every friend you refer, once their first cashback request is accepted, you will receive £3 that counts towards reaching the £10 threshold for withdrawal. Please keep in mind that your friend must sign up on the app not on the website
