The Referral Programme Terms and Conditions (the “Referral Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quotient Technology Limited (“Shopmium,” “we,” or “our”), governing your participation in the Shopmium Referral Programme (the “Referral Programme”). Your use of the Shopmium website or smartphone application (each, a “Site” and together the “Sites”) and participation in the Referral Programme is also governed by our Terms of Use, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE REFERRAL TERMS, YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE REFERRAL PROGRAMME.
Shopmium may modify these Referral Terms at any time by updating this posting, and your use of the Referral Programme after such modification confirms your acceptance of the modified terms. Please check these Referral Terms periodically for modifications. Shopmium may also discontinue the Referral Programme at any time upon notice on the Sites, without incurring any liability whatsoever related thereto.

1. Programme participation and eligibility
The Referral Programme is available only for new User Accounts (as defined in the Terms of Service). The member who initiates a referral is referred to herein as the “Referrer,” and the referred friend is referred to herein as the “Referred Friend” (collectively, the “Participants”). Internet access is required for participation in the Referral Programme.
To make referrals (“Referrals”), you must:
- provide us with a valid e-mail address or connect to the Sites via Facebook®;
- have an active User Account in good standing pursuant to the Terms of Use and Terms of Service; and
- be an individual person eighteen (18) years or older, residing in Belgium.
Participation in the Referral Programme is prohibited where void by applicable law or regulation. The Referral Programme is only available through the Sites. If your User Account is interrupted, suspended or you or Shopmium cancel your User Account at any time, you are no longer eligible to participate in the Referral Programme. Upon cancellation, your User Account will be deemed inactive and you may not make Referrals or earn Bonuses (as hereinafter defined), including Bonuses that may be pending. You cannot redeem a Bonus for referring yourself or an existing User Account holder. You may only participate in the Referral Programme with one User Account.
2. Participation
You may become a Referrer by simply clicking on the “Refer a friend” button available in each Site on the page dedicated to the Referral Programme. You will then be prompted to send an e-mail or text message containing your individual Referral code (the “Referral Code”) to your friends, or broadcast the Referral Code by including it on your Facebook®, Twitter®, blog or other website.
You will be notified via e-mail or on your User Account when a Referral has been validated by Shopmium.
Shopmium expressly reserves the right to independently verify the identity of any Participant.
3. Reward redemption
Subject to your compliance with these Referral Terms and the Terms of Use and Terms of Service, upon a Referred Friend’s (i) activation of a new User Account linked to a unique PayPal or bank account, and (ii) first Request for reimbursement pursuant to (and as defined in) the Terms of Service, Shopmium will credit a bonus of £1.00 (inclusive of any applicable taxes) to both the Referrer’s and the Referee’s User Accounts.
Bonuses received are non-transferable, non-assignable, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, credit, or any other merchandise. Bonuses are credited to the User Wallet and contribute toward the £10 threshold required before the user may cash out.
You may refer up to a maximum of one hundred (100) individual Referred Friends.
Shopmium expressly reserves the right to void any Bonuses or other special offers, or exclude any Participant from the Referral Programme or the Promotions (as defined in the Terms of Service) based on the following: (1) ineligibility of any Participant, as determined in Shopmium’s sole discretion, (2) if Shopmium, in its sole discretion, determines that fraudulent behaviour or other unethical conduct has occurred that compromises the fairness of the Referral Programme in any way, or (3) if Shopmium, in its sole discretion, finds that you have violated any of the Terms of Use and Terms of Service.
You will not receive any Bonuses if your Referrals are rejected or are not received for any reason, or if you fail to comply with any of the Referral Terms.
If your account remains inactive for 180 consecutive days, Shopmium reserves the right to charge a monthly account management fee, which may be up to the total amount of your balance.
